Artificial Grass Lawns in Portland, OR

Oregon Artificial Turf installs synthetic grass lawns for homeowners throughout Portland, Beaverton, Lake Oswego, and the surrounding metro. A real lawn in this region is a year-round chore with a short payoff: it's soggy and moss-ridden from October through May, it needs constant water and mowing through the summer, and the shaded parts under our Douglas firs and big-leaf maples never fill in properly no matter what you do. A well-built turf lawn removes all of that and looks the same in February as it does in July.

What separates a turf lawn that lasts twenty years from one that ripples, sinks, and puddles is entirely underneath it. We strip and haul away the existing sod, excavate to depth, and build a compacted base of open-graded crushed rock; the aggregate is chosen so water moves through it rather than perching on top, which matters enormously on Portland's clay soils. The turf itself is laid with the blade grain running in a consistent direction, seamed with tape and adhesive rather than exposed staples, secured on a tight perimeter nail pattern, and finished with a brushed-in silica infill that keeps the blades standing upright.
